A place for hands-on learning and collaboration

Eco-Island is an independent venue for practical education, sustainable building and professional exchange. It brings together instructors, craftspeople, organisers and industry partners to share skills through real-world projects.

Eco-Island is not limited to one company or an annual building camp. It welcomes workshops and training programmes from different organisers, including visiting educators and specialist craftspeople.

Workshops and building camps

Each programme has its own organisers, instructors, dates and registration information. The experiences and outcomes of previous events remain accessible in the archive, including the 2026 Bátor Kabin building camp.

Our aim is to create a lasting community where practical knowledge, cooperation and responsible construction come together.
